Abstract
The aviation industry has been struggling to get back on their feet since COVID-19 hit. American Airlines faced pilot shortages, increased fuel costs due to inflation and/or more flights being scheduled. The Airline found it hard to recover from the unexpected struggles that seemed to take over the company, causing them not to run as efficiently and effectively as they had planned. Through the use of statistics and various credible sources, the problems American Airlines faced during the time is explained.
