Description

By nature, this course covers a global perspective of music through cultures, time periods, and styles. This course will explore art and vernacular music from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and North America. Oral reports, listening and short written exams, assignments, concert reviews, concert attendance, and class participation will provide the primary measures of student achievement.
