Dedicated on January 22, 1978, the Eugene M. and Mary Lynn Student Center was initially known as Founders Hall and was one of the four original buildings on campus. When Marymount College (now Lynn University) first opened in 1963, Founders Hall was the home of the student center, administration, chapel, library (2nd floor), and auditorium.
When the Christine E. Lynn Student Center opened in 2019, the Eugene M. and Mary Lynn Student Center closed for renovations. Located on the site of the former Eugene M. and Mary Lynn Student Center, the 20,000-square-foot Snyder Center is the future home of Lynn University’s fitness, health, counseling and wellness services.
