Description
This book introduces students to script analysis of dramatic and comedic plays. Through the exploration of character development, playwright's intentions, and simple dramaturgy students will learn skills necessary to break down a play and complete a full analysis of characters and plot. This book will also serve as a guide as students read selected plays. The chapters provide a background of pertinent information about the playwrights, setting and time period of the play, as well as introductions to themes and motifs in the plays to be read throughout the semester.
