Description
Flose Boursiquot, a locally based Haitian-born writer and spoken word artist, joined us to celebrate national poetry month by sharing pieces from her collections of poetry, Close Your Eyes, Now Breathe + loudmouth.
She discussed how she and poetry have found a home in one another and will inspire us all to find the fire in our hearts.
Flose has been recognized as one of BET's feminist millennial poets to watch, and her work has appeared in the Huffington Post, on Blavity, in the Delray Newspaper, and in Foliate Oak Literary Magazine.
