The Lynn Fashion Showcase (LFS) is a collaboration between the College of Business and Management and the College of Communication and Design, which brings together a diverse array of participants, including alumni and current students, local boutiques and stores.
Since 2004, Dr. Lisa Benedict, Program Coordinator of the Fashion and Retail program at Lynn University, has been overseeing the fashion at the showcase.
The fashion shows began in the early 1980s under the direction of Donna Sullivan, Fashion Merchandise professor at the College of Boca Raton, and were primarily held during Parents & Families Weekend.

2024: Lynn Fashion Showcase
Lynn University
The 2024 Annual Fashion Showcase committed to raising awareness on the importance of repurposing post-consumer textiles into new clothing and helping to raise the current recycling rate of 1%.
With sustainable creativity, students transformed discarded textiles into stylish, eco-conscious garments. This actively contributed to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Goals—particularly Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production; and Goal 13: Climate Action.
The curated designer for the 2024 Fashion Showcase was House of Perna founder Amanda Perna, who designs clothing for the woman after her own heart. Perna appeared on two seasons of Project Runway, and her work has been internationally recognized in hundreds of press mentions.

Lynn University
Lynn University students reimagine how fashion is presented in the age of COVID-19. How does one have a fashion show when the designers, models, design team and logistical crew aren’t in one place? Over the course of the spring semester, students went behind the scenes and spoke to some of today’s hottest fashion designers to gain insight on what makes fashion sustainable and purposeful for today’s consumers. They discovered the "PHYGITAL," where physical space and digital technologies meet in the fashion show of the future. In partnership with Lynn’s College of Communication and Design, fashion and retail students used digital mapping, BEEM holograms and new virtual techniques to present ‘Surreal.’
