Abstract
Adlerian family therapy is an approach that focuses on understanding individual dynamics within the family, emphasizing mutual respect, encouragement, and cooperation to enhance understanding, improve communication, and foster equality within the relationship. This chapter uses the case of the Daniels to explain and apply the conceptualization of problem formation and problem resolution, considerations of diversity, and a hypothetical case transcript to describe and explain the model and how the family therapist creates a therapeutic story that helps the family move toward their goals.
