Abstract
Neurodivergent students are increasingly attending higher education. The increase in college attainment of neurodivergent students should give further attention and support in the college counseling and college admission fields. This session will dive deeper into standardizing ethical practices when supporting neurodivergent students in the college admission process through a Universal Design Learning approach.
- Participants will understand the differences regarding the high school and college services between disability law
- Participants in this session will learn about resources and the network of institutions for academic support services program
- Students will understand ways in which to evaluate markers of college readiness using a Universal Design Learning approach.
