Abstract
Dr. Melissa Lehman, associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, presented a two-talk series at the Delray Beach Public Library's Lifelong Learning Institute titled "Brain Function, Cognition, Memory and Everyday Functions."
During Lehman's first talk (March 13, 2025), she discussed how the brain supports cognitive processes like memory, language and decision-making. Her second talk (March 20, 2025) explored how memories form and recall, highlighting common memory errors and their psychological roots.
