Abstract
Dr. Roberta Rust, piano professor at the Lynn University Conservatory of Music, showcased her expertise through performances and teaching. She presented a lecture recital on the piano music of Louis Ballard and Conner Chee, both who are prominent composers of native American descent, on Thursday, January 30, 7:30 PM, in Barnes Recital Hall.
Dr. Rust also presented a masterclass for piano students on Friday, January 31, at 2 PM in Barnes Recital Hall. This concert is part of the Global Arts Initiative of the College of Visual and Performing Arts and is being funded through a competitive grant chosen by the CVPA faculty and Deans.
