Abstract
Dr. Kristen Migliano presented her academic research proposal, "Bridging the Gap Between Business Education and Workforce Readiness: A Case Study on Integrating NACE's Competencies into Undergraduate Business Curriculum," at the ABR Fall 2024 Conference on Nov. 22, 2024.
This scholarship introduces the integration of the National Association of College and Employers’ (NACE) eight career readiness competencies into an undergraduate Leadership & Management curriculum. The study addresses the gap between academic instruction and the skills employers seek in business graduates, highlighting the disparity between the competencies traditionally emphasized in business schools and those employers report as essential.
