Abstract
In the wake of a pandemic, practitioners have all been confronted with significant changes and obstacles in their personal and professional lives.
This workshop is designed to help practitioners manage stress and increase well-being through several activities, self-assessments, and discussions.
Self-care is about taking care of your mind and body by actively taking steps to enhance personal well-being. Self-care can promote resilience, improve stress management, and enhance your work/life balance.
Learning objectives:
- Apply and learn about the science of active self-care and coping
- Evaluate personal well-being and self-care strategies
- Identify obstacles and challenges that lead to passive self-care
- Develop a list of new and realistic self-care strategies
