Commencement Programs

This collection showcases Commencement Programs from Marymount College (1962-1974), College of Boca Raton (1975-1991), and Lynn University (September 1991-Current).

The first Commencement ceremony was held at Marymount College in 1965. In 1973, after Marymount and Wilmington College became affiliated, and Wilmington began offering upper-level classes toward a bachelor's degree at the Wilmington Extension in Boca Raton, Marymount's ninth graduating class held a joint commencement ceremony with Wilmington College at Boca Raton's first graduating class.

From 1965-2005, all students graduated at the same commencement ceremony. In 2006, commencement was split into two separate ceremonies on two separate days: Graduate Students and Undergraduate Evening Students at one ceremony and Undergraduate Day Students at another. In 2019, the two ceremonies were combined once more and moved to a larger, off-campus venue to accommodate all graduates and guests.

Lynn University's Fifty-Eighth Commencement Exercises Program. This program is for Lynn University's 2024 graduating students (undergraduates and graduates), held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Palm Beach Convention Center in downtown West Palm Beach. The Commencement speaker was Dr. Jon Robertson, Dean of the Lynn University Conservatory of Music.
2023 Lynn University Commencement Program

This program is for Lynn University's 2023 graduating students (undergraduates and graduates), held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Palm Beach Convention Center in downtown West Palm Beach. The Commencement speaker was Joel Podolny, Founder and CEO Honor Education.
2022 Lynn University Commencement Program

This program is for Lynn University's 2022 graduating students (undergraduates and graduates), held Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Palm Beach Convention Center in downtown West Palm Beach. The Commencement speaker was Rob Scheer, Founder of Comfort Cases.
Fall 2021 Lynn University Commencement Program

Lynn University

This program is for Lynn University's Fall 2021 Commencement Exercises, held in-person in the Count and Countess de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, again honored the Classes of 2020 and 2021. The event was held for graduates who were qualified to participate in the May 2020 or 2021 commencement ceremonies and RSVPd to participate. The Commencement speaker was Dr. Robert Watson, Distinguished Professor of American History.
2020 & 2021 Lynn University Commencement Program

Lynn University's Fifty-Fifth Commencement Exercises Program. This program was published only on the web and can be found here. Due to COVID-19, Lynn University's Spring 2021 Commencement Exercises, were held virtually over YouTube on Saturday, May 15, 2021. The Commencement speaker was Kuda Biza '09, '10, Entrepreneur, author, speaker and philanthropist.

The program available for download here on SPIRAL was compiled and created by Lynn University's Creative Services to aid the Lynn Archives in providing an easy access commencement guide for users.
