The BYOB "Be Your Own Boss" Entrepreneurship Workshop is a campus-wide event presented by the College of Business and Management, created to empower students to become successful entrepreneurs and game changers.
The "Be Your Own Boss" (BYOB) Workshop 2020 is a campus-wide webinar featuring five unique speakers from various businesses, backgrounds and philosophies.

Session 1: Kiko Kislansky, Social impact entrepreneur, 10–11 a.m.
Topic: Love is Greater than MoneyKiko Kislansky is co-founder of Euzaria Mods Conscience, co-founder and General Director of Cazulo Consultoria de Negociós com Objetivo and Coach Ambassador of the IKIGAI Human Development methodology. In his entrepreneurial career, Kislansky has won national and international awards and authored two books.

Session 2: Sam Tiger, NFL sports agent, 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.
Topic: The Power of the HustleSam Tiger’s passion for the sports and entertainment industry began at a young age while moving around the United States and internationally. Tiger is an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor as well as a marketing agent for NFL, CFL, MLB, and other professional athletes and entertainers. Prior to launching her independent agency, Tiger spent time working in college football in player marketing, events, and management for ESPN West Palm, the Capital One Orange Bowl and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

Session 3: Patience and Alex Murray, PULSE nightclub shooting survivor, 1–2 p.m.
Topic: Turning Adversity into OpportunityPatience Carter Murray is an entrepreneur, author, and Outreach Director for the Gun Violence Survivors Foundation. She is a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting. Since then, Murray has met with several U.S. officials to speak about gun control, terrorism, and mental health issues in America. The Teen Choice Awards presented her with their Courage Award in 2016 and has been featured in Glamour, Teen Vogue, and CNN.
Alex Murray is an entrepreneur and content creator. He is the Event Coordinator for the Akbar Murray Memorial Basketball Game, hosted annually in honor of his sister, who was killed in the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Session 4: JJ Ahearn, Famous for making Sponge Bob famous, 2:30–3:30 p.m.
Topic: Having a Vision and a MissionJJ Ahearn is a veteran of the licensing industry and currently serves on the LIMA Board of Directors. Before starting Licensing Street, Ahearn worked for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, CBS Television, and Memcorp Asia. While at Nickelodeon and CBS, Ahearn worked on such hit properties as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, South Park and Star Trek.

Topic: The Business of YouTubeSteven Schapiro is a social media star who gained fame for his self-titled YouTube channel. His brand of public pranks and social experiments involving strangers has helped him grow to more than 97 million views while also contributing to The Daily Dropout YouTube channel.
Dawson Gurley is an American YouTube personality and prankster. His channel, BigDawsTV, has more than 5 million subscribers. His second channel, BigDawsTvExtras, shows extra footage from his main videos and vlogs.
