Art credit: "Phillip Don Estridge's Workshop," by Candace Gordon - 1st place winner of the 2025 Boca Bauhaus Art Contest

====================================================

In 1981, the IBM corporation released its very first IBM personal computer, which it had developed and manufactured in Boca Raton FL.

For the Boca Bauhaus Art Contest, each student created an artwork based on technical charts for the very first IBM personal computer. The archival technical charts, originally created by the brilliant engineer Lewis Eggebrecht and used by the IBM Task Force that met in August of 1980 to define the first IBM personal computer, were used by the students to make art.

The artwork, judged by a panel including the curator for the Boca Raton Innovation Campus and Dr. Dave Bradley, one of the original engineers who developed the first IBM personal computer, will be displayed at the Lynn NFT Museum.
