Description

A course in clear, effective expression designed to develop ability in composition. Students study the essay and are trained in the use of library materials for preparing research papers. Includes writing lab requirement. This course fulfills the Gordon Rule. Students will write a minimum of 6000 words. Students must earn a C or higher to move on to ENG 102. Offered every semester. Prerequisite: Pass grade in ENG 099 or appropriate score on the placement test.
