Khalique Ahmed was a keynote speaker at the third International Workshop on Renewable Energy and Development (IWRED). The event took place in Guangzhou, China, March 8–10. He delivered his lecture on “Renewable Energy and Climate Change” remotely, via the Canvas learning management system. Ahmed discussed the pros and cons of renewable energy sources and provided multiple scenarios of a global shift from non-renewable to renewable energy sources.
