Abstract

The risk posed to an institution by an increasing loan default rate should not be underestimated. This interactive session will look at how different institutions have approached the topic of financial literacy, and how they have tackled the problem of student loan debt. This session will include activities to help attendees buy into the concept of financial literacy and will highlight the different financial choices that students, and all of us, encounter daily. Finally, to assist in the creation/modification of a financial wellness program, a link to a free financial literacy iBook will also be provided to attendees.
