Program Notes

Description: During the coronavirus pandemic, Lynn University Philharmonia (a.k.a. MUS 321/521, Large Ensemble) became an online class, and the students Zoomed in from all over the world to attend. Although the new format didn't allow them to rehearse orchestral works together, it didn't stop them from playing music. As part of the class works, the students worked on a video collage project. They recorded themselves performing Berlioz's Hungarian March. Then, video clips were put together and edited by two students, Aaron Chan and Carlos Avendano Garcia. This video shows our students' spirit of "Show must go on!"

The Hungarian March from La damnation of Faust by Hector Berlioz, performed by the Lynn University Philharmonia, Conservatory of Music
