This collection showcases Commencement Programs, Photographs, and Videos from Marymount College (1962-1974), College of Boca Raton (1975-1991), and Lynn University (September 1991-Current).
The first Commencement ceremony was held at Marymount College in 1965.
In 1973, after Marymount and Wilmington College became affiliated, and Wilmington began offering upper-level classes toward a bachelor's degree at the Wilmington Extension in Boca Raton, Marymount's ninth graduating class held a joint commencement ceremony with Wilmington College at Boca Raton's first graduating class.
From 1965-2005, all students graduated at the same commencement ceremony. In 2006, commencement was split into two separate ceremonies on two separate days: Graduate Students and Undergraduate Evening Students at one ceremony and Undergraduate Day Students at another. In 2019, the two ceremonies were combine once more and moved to a larger, off-campus venue to accommodate all graduates and guests.
No commencement ceremony was held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
