Undergraduate Intern in Holocaust Studies Multimedia, 2025-2026

Undergraduate Internship in Holocaust Studies Multimedia (Paid Internship):
In 2025-2026, an undergraduate student, Anna Monteil Jourdan, worked with faculty and staff to support multimedia projects related to Holocaust Studies at Lynn University.

Ms. Jourdan worked with Broadcast Coordinator Walter Cicchetti to record the testimonies of Holocaust survivors, using the equipment of Lynn's video-recording studio. Lynn University collaborates with the USC Shoah Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on recording audio-visual interviews with witnesses and survivors of the Holocaust. Volunteers working with the Shoah Foundation have interviewed Holocaust survivors who visited Lynn's campus, and Ms. Jourdan has helped to record those interviews.

Ms. Jourdan also worked with Professor Sindee Kerker to organize a workshop and event related to Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Soon, Jourdan will also help Kerker to create a digital book. Every year, Professor Kerker organizes a workshop related to the Holocaust, called the "GenZ Story Expression Workshop." Kerker invites a Holocaust survivor to speak with students at Lynn, and afterwards students make artworks, poetry, or videos that reflect on the survivor's testimony. Kerker develops a Multi-Touch book that describes the survivor's testimony and displays the artworks and poetry created by students. Kerker also helps to organize yearly campus events, related to Holocaust and Genocide Studies, featuring external speakers and exhibits. In 2025, Ms. Jourdan is working with Professor Kerker to help organize this workshop and yearly event, and to create the Multi-Touch book.
