Daniel Young ushered the men’s golf program into a golden era of success that has continued to this day. The Scotland native participated in three NCAA Division II National Championships, including runner-up finishes in 2011 and 2013, the first two in program history. In addition, he was the national championship individual runner-up in 2011, losing on the third playoff hole. Young’s accomplishments are numerous and significant as he is the first three-time All-American, first three-time All-SSC selection and first two-time First Team All-SSC honoree in the program’s storied history while also becoming the third golfer to garner SSC All-Championship recognition twice.
