Lee Paul Scroggins left a lasting impression in his three-years with the Lynn University men’s soccer team (2003-05). With Scroggins on the squad, the Fighting Knights posted an impressive 50-8-1 overall record while claiming three Sunshine State Conference titles, two South Region championships and the 2003 NCAA Division II National Championship.
The attacking midfielder was a part of history in his first season (2003) as Lynn became the first men’s soccer program in Sunshine State Conference history to win the SSC regular season, SSC Tournament and NCAA Division II National Championship in the same year. The 2004 season succeeded with another conference championship while the 2005 season saw him lead the team with 20 goals and 45 points while guiding the Blue and White to an NCAA National Semifinals appearance.
Scroggins would go on to be a two-time All-SSC First Team selection, SSC All-Tournament selection, First Team NSCAA Scholar All-American and First Team NSCAA All-American.
