Alexandra Schunk was a top tier women’s tennis player during a stretch of dominance that has been unmatched in Sunshine State Conference history, similar to her Lynn Hall of Fame doubles partner Victoria Weltz.
Schunk helped lead Lynn to four NCAA Tournament appearances, two national semifinals appearance and a national runner-up finish in her senior season. She left the program fifth in doubles victories (76) and second in doubles winning percentage (.950) for a career, which is second only to her teammate Weltz (.952). Her 24-0 doubles-mark also stands as the most victories in an undefeated doubles season.
Schultz was a three-time All-SSC singles and doubles performer, two-time ITA All-American in singles and 2008 doubles All-American while being honored as the Lynn Scholar Athlete of the Year and the ITA Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award winner. She also was selected as a CoSIDA Third Team Academic All-American, the third selection in program history.
