INDUCTION YEAR: 2017

McGarity led a revival in the men’s golf program that extends to the present. He led the Fighting Knights to four consecutive NCAA Tournaments and the first two NCAA National Championship appearances in program history. Lynn has not missed the postseason since he arrived. In addition, McGarity helped the Blue & White win the first Sunshine State Conference championship in program history, and two overall. He is one of four two-time All-SSC First team selections in program history, one of five two-time SSC All-Tournament selections and a two time PING All-American. In his senior year McGarity was honored as the SSC Golfer of the Year and Lynn finished as SSC Champions and fourth at the national championship. He left Lynn with the most rounds played, lowest overall stroke average and top-10 finishes in a career.
