Description
NAME: Julia Jehs
CLASS: 1997
SPORT(S): Women’s Tennis
INDUCTION YEAR: 2016
To say Jehs was extremely successful in her four years at Lynn would be an understatement. When she graduated in 2000, she left as a two-time NCAA Division II National Champion with four national tournament appearances. She is one of only three women’s tennis players in program history to be a 7-time ITA All-American, including one of only two to be a four-time doubles All-America selection. Her play was so dominant that Jehs was named to the Sunshine State Conference Silver Anniversary Team as well as being inducted in the SSC Hall of Fame in 2008. In addition, Jehs posted a 58-8 career singles record (.878 win percentage) and logged one of the 10 undefeated singles seasons in school history (1998 – 17-0).
