A dominant player on both sides of the ball for the men’s soccer team from 2005-08, Alexandre was a unanimous All-America selection as a senior when he was also the first soccer player in league history to be named the Sunshine State Conference Player, Offensive Player and Sportsman of the Year. Alexandre led the nation in goals (23) and points per game (2.79) and guided Lynn to SSC regular season and tournament titles. After his senior season, he became the highest drafted student-athlete in school history when he was selected 12th overall in the Major League Soccer Superdraft. Alexandre would go on to win an MLS cup with Real Salt Lake and USL title with Orlando City before continuing his professional career in Malaysia and with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Away from the pitch, Alexandre developed the Jean-Mark Alexandre Futbol Academy, a non-profit organization which seeks to develop social development in Haiti through soccer.
