A baseball alum has been inducted every-other year since 2006,with MacDougall becoming the latest to join the ranks. A three-year letter winner from 2006-09, he put the Fighting Knights on the map by helping lead his team to the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship while also being named the 2008 CoSIDA/ESPN Magazine National Academic All-American of the year, both of which were program firsts. MacDougall claimed SSC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors and was an ABCA and Daktronics All-American selection before being drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the27th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. After his playing days, he held season records for home runs in a season (22) and career records for home runs (39) and doubles (50)while being second in total bases (358) and RBIs (167).
