Pendleton, spent 17 years on the sidelines with the men’s soccer program, accumulating a 293-42-12 mark with two national championships, three national runner-up finishes, six SSC titles and 14 postseason appearances. He arrived in 1991 and immediately put his name in the record books by going 22-0-2 and winning the program’s second national crown. He would go on to win his second, and the program’s third national title in 2003 with a 22-0-1 mark. His overall numbers were staggering as he has won 17 or more games in a season on nine occasions, averaging 16.8 wins a year, while having lost four or more games just four times. Lynn’s teams were built on explosive offensives and staunch defense, scoring 50 or more goals13 times and yielding 20 goals or less 13 times with 177shutouts. He left Lynn in 2007 as the NCAA Division II all-time winningest coach, a mark that still stands today. The Sheffield, England, native coached 46 of the 88 All-America selections for Lynn, 70 All-SSC honorees and 23 Scholar All-Americans.
