Abstract
Global competition has become of an issue of survival , companies have been forced into re-evaluating how they do business . Quality is a focal point of IS09000 certification as well as global standardization . This project examines and assesses the impact of IS09000 and if it will be a viable means of entry into the European market in the 21st century . The paper will examine other quality standards and if they alone will be adequate to compete globally.
